Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about SIZED.

From how the fully-clothed scan works to deployment, privacy and pricing — the answers most teams ask before rolling out sizing infrastructure.

Getting started

SIZED is the infrastructure layer for sizing across the workwear, uniforms and apparel industry. It starts with a fully-clothed 3D body scan that takes about 30 seconds, then turns that into standardized sizing data used for size assignment, recommendations, analytics and reorders.

No. SIZED scans are fully clothed. There is no undressing and no manual measuring — the patented AI reconstructs the true body shape from the scan and extracts 220+ standardized measurements.

A full-body scan takes around 30 seconds. The experience is self-service and guided, so employees or shoppers can complete it on their own without an operator.

SIZED reaches 98%+ measurement accuracy, extracting 220+ standardized measurements per scan from a training set of over 1 million distinct body shapes.

Technology & privacy

SIZED combines Orbbec 3D depth sensors to capture precise 3D data, patented AI reconstruction (NakedNet) to rebuild the true body shape, and a landmark-based measurement engine that outputs structured sizing data. The core AI was developed with the Machine Learning Department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).

Yes. The NakedNet fully-clothed body reconstruction method is patent-granted in the EU, US and Japan, with China pending.

SIZED is built privacy-first. Scans are fully clothed, and the system is designed to generate sizing data while respecting privacy. The AI runs locally on the scanner.

SIZED's scanning technology is available in two formats so organizations can pick what fits their environment: permanent retail installations and transportable deployments for workwear. The transportable unit folds to 92 × 18 × 25 cm at 25 kg and fits in any car.

Deployment & operations

The scanner is finalized, built and field-proven — not a concept. It is autonomous and self-service: it can be set up as a permanent station or transported between sites. There are no external dependencies in the core stack.

A single unit handles up to 500 scans per day with a fully autonomous scanner, compared to roughly 28 people per day for one tailor doing manual measurement.

Yes. The generated body profile supports uniform assignment, size recommendations, analytics, reorders, customer profiles, and integration with operational systems.

Pricing & commercial

Clients pay for the usage, with accessible plans that make the offer a no-brainer and deliver savings from the very first project. Plans run from Starter to Professional and Enterprise, with optional Analytics and Data add-on packs.

There is effectively zero marginal cost per scan — the AI runs locally on the scanner, with only minimal storage cost. This supports SaaS-grade gross margins on a hardware-enabled network.

Yes. Choosing annual plans gives 2 months free and 10% savings on additional scans.
